What makes a shot render well
One moment. Six seconds is one action, not a story. “The chef presses a fingertip into the medallion and it sinks” beats “the chef cooks dinner and serves it”.
Say who, what, where. A subject the camera can see, a verb it can film, a place with light in it.
Give the camera a job. “slow push-in”, “handheld”, “wide from above”, “close on her hands”.
Adjectives don’t render. “spookier” does nothing; “a single bulb swings and the shadows swing with it” does.
No text, logos, or brand names — the model draws them wrong and the desk declines them.
